How does the payment work?
Payment section is user-friendly. After purchasing you’ll receive a mail with the score files (full score and parts) attached, ready to be downloaded.
The standard payment gateway is PayPal. If you want to pay by credit/debit card, you can use the PayPal Guest Checkout: after clicking on the Purchase button on the Checkout page, you will be redirected to the PayPal purchase page, then click on “Pay by credit/debit card” (sometimes you have to click on “Having trouble logging in?”) and finally you can add your card details.
How long does it take to get a full score/arrangement on demand?
It depends on how big is the ensemble and the level of difficulty. However, we will get in touch for an estimated time and price for the delivery. You can then decide if the estimated time fits your needs and whether you want to proceed with the order.
Let’s say I want a certain song to be arranged for my local wind band. What kind of information do I need to provide?
In this case, you will need to fill the form in the Custom arrangement page with as much information as you possibly can get: title, author (band, artist and so on..), album (in case there are several versions, please indicate whether it is a live version, a recorded version, a bootleg version, a remix, etc.). Please provide also a list of the ensemble that will perform the song/piece. In case you are not in possess of all these information, please provide as much as you can and we will take care of the rest!
In which engraving and file format will I receive my parts/scores?
You will receive your purchased arrangement score (plus parts where applicable) in PDF format. We use Sibelius as our main notation software. In case you need a particular engraving format (like Finale), please do specify that in your enquiry.
Are the parts easy to read/instantaneously playable?
We do our best in order to provide the most easy-to-read parts and scores. However, errors may occur (we are human beings after all!). In that case, please come back to us and we will provide a new revised version of the score/parts free of charge.
Customised products: let’s say I have a melody score and I want it to be arranged for guitar but I do not read treble clef and I am only in need of a tablature. Is it possible to get one?
Yes. You just need to provide this information under the ‘Additional notes’ area in the Custom arrangement’s form and you will be provided with an easy-to-read tablature that will also contain tempo and rhythm information.
Can you produce music score from MIDI as well (music engraving from MIDI file)?
Yes (go to the Music engraving page). Let’s assume you composed a song and did some pre-production on a DAW (Logic, Ableton, etc.) with sampled VST instruments and you need some scores for live instrumentalists or session players. You can then provide us a MIDI version of your song and we will arrange it for the session players. In this way, the musicians will be able to sight-read your parts and you will avoid wasting time and money during the recording sessions, getting the best performance possible. Providing clean, easy to read scores is always the best solution and will also boost your credentials as a composer/producer!
